Favorites Friday

This is my first ‘Favorites Friday’ so I don’t know exactly how I’m gonna do this. Will I post pictures or just make a list? Maybe both?

I will probably have the song from The Sound of Music running through my head while I write these posts. ? These are a few of my favorite things!?

I’m feeling wanderlust today so I’m going to try and narrow down my favorite place that I’ve visited.

My list of places I’ve been may not be very long compared to some but I feel very grateful to have been where I have. This isn’t an easy choice especially since technically I’m supposed to narrow it down to one!

Obviously the states where I’ve been to one or two cities there was a lot of driving thru that state to get there. But I’m not counting that. And I KNOW I am forgetting all the amazing places I went to on the East Coast. I can only remember the obvious ones.

Here is where I have been and then I will choose the winner at the end.

  • Hawaii
  • Oregon
  • California – most of the Southern areas
  • Texas- Houston and San Antonio
  • Arizona -Phoenix
  • Colorado
  • Wyoming
  • Nevada – Las Vegas and other surrounding areas
  • Idaho – Southern and farthest up to Boise and Garden Valley
  • New Mexico
  • Mississippi – Down the River, stops along the way also Hattisburg
  • Louisiana -New Orleans
  • Virginia –
  • Vermont – Sharon
  • Washington D.C.
  • Pennsylvania – Blue ball and other Amish cities, Philadelphia
  • New York – NYC, Palmyra and Rochester and Canandaigua
  • Massachusetts – Boston and Cape Cod
  •  Canada – Quebec and Alberta
  • Mexico – Tijuana, Cancun and Cozumel
  • Jamaica
  • Cayman Islands

Holy Moly this is hard but based off my experiences in these places I’d have to say that…..

It’s a toss up between Cancun, Boston, New York City and Palmyra. But you know they all have their own reasons why they could be my favorite! Why did I decide to do this? This is too hard.

I loved Washington D.C. too. And Hawaii.

OK I’ll just say…

I did spend almost 6 months of my life living there…the Palmyra Inn was my home and I grew to love it there so so much. The Sacred Grove was a short walk away along with the Temple and other amazing church sites. I think it just holds a special place in my heart and since then I haven’t been back and it’s the place I’d want to take my family first. Especially in the fall. OOooooh Palmyra in the fall is so beautiful.

So there you have it folks. My Favorite Place that I’ve been to.

Hopefully the rest of these wont be so long winded.  😉
